Markos Statement

As already mentioned in the Artura - HOTLAP, McLaren is certainly one of the exotic players on the domestic sports car market. At the beginning of 2024, McLaren opened its newest European branch in Vienna, the first showroom in Central Europe to feature a small coffee bar and the "Woking Window". McLaren Vienna offers its selected customers a range of McLaren models as well as branded merchandise and accessories on 450 square meters. In addition to the new showroom, there is also a modern service center covering around 300 square meters.

Back to the 600 LT, which is clearly a "driver's car". It embodies the unstoppable spirit of its "longtail" predecessors, united by one and the same goal: to push performance and driving experience to the absolute limit. It is no exaggeration to say that the McLaren 600 LT is a road-legal racing car without equal.

Extreme weight-saving measures have been at the heart of the McLaren 600LT project from the outset. In addition to the carbon fiber chassis, which is unique in this class, the 600LT has a new body made of the same material. The lightweight brake system and suspension are taken from the McLaren 720S. The track-focused interior includes the carbon fiber racing seats first used in the McLaren P1™. With the super lightweight carbon fiber racing seats developed for the McLaren Senna, the weight of the 600LT can be reduced even further.

The direct steering, extremely responsive brakes, 600 hp and a weight of just under 1,400 kg ensure unparalleled performance on the racetrack. With a top speed of 240 km/h on the start-finish straight, combined with sophisticated aerodynamics, it takes 13 km/h off the current GT3 RS 992. The already impressive lap time would certainly have been even better with new tires, as the three-year-old Good Year Eagle F1 tires were no longer quite optimal in terms of traction.

CONCLUSION:
With the 600LT Spyder, McLaren has managed to square the circle, so to speak: 600 hp, 2.9 seconds from 0 to 100 km/h, just under 1,400 kg despite the folding roof and a chassis that is just as impressive on the racetrack as it is on the country road make the British super sports car an all-rounder and perfect track tool. And the first choice for those who value individuality and exclusivity. In this respect, it is not just a "driver's car" but rather a "racer's car"!
