- The sport drivers -
When a troupe of enthusiastic automotive and motorsport enthusiasts met in 2006 for the first sports driver training, no one imagined that it would one day become Austria's leading provider of brand-independent, racing-oriented driver training.
We are professionals with "gasoline in our blood" who love to waste their time on the race track and pass on their know-how in professional coaching sessions to take you to your personal limit lap after lap.
Whether you are a rookie or an ambitious hobby racer, we welcome everyone who wants to share their passion for four wheels, high speeds and the race track with us!
Marko Klein
Marko got his start in motorsport in 2004 when he took part in the Suzuki Cup and won it a year later. After competing in the National Rally Championship, he founded sportfahrer.at in 2006 with Robert Mittermann and Michael Wretschko. In the following years, the company successfully established itself as a provider of driver training on the Austrian market.
From 2010 onwards, Marko concentrated more on active motorsport and, as a driver and co-owner of the ZaWoTec Racing Team, was able to win three series in a row with the BMW Challenge Group N, the KTM X-Bow Battle and the Porsche Alpenpokal. In 2011, he additionally shone in the winning team of the Nissan Sportscar Battle. In 2013 and 2014, he competed in the Porsche Carrera Cup Deutschland, the toughest one-make cup in Europe, and in 2014 made his debut in endurance racing at the 24-hour race in Barcelona.
As chief instructor of sportfahrer.at, Marko is no stranger to any drive or engine concept and, of course, no brand. Whether horse, bull, rings, propeller or star. From A for Ariel Atom to Z for Zuffenhausen. Four-, six-, eight-, ten- or twelve-cylinder, turbo or naturally aspirated - Marko has already chased them all around the racetrack and burned reference times into the asphalt, which can be found on our HOTLAP page.
